EZStruder Problem (Solved)

Hi all, today my printer have a strange problem.

I try to extrude 20 mm of ABS at 100 mm/min and at 200°c but my eztruder motor do a back jump sometime;
I checked the guide tube; the extruder and the wire on the rambo board but all seems good;
Releasing the motor hold and turning the white gear the filament flows well through the tube.

I also tried to push an abs wire inside the extruder by finger without any problem.

Sometimes you need a fan that blows on the front of the Rambo card to prevent the driver chips from brief shutdowns due to heat.
I know that most have a fan in the rear but the front is also necessary on some machines.

Could also be variation in how the thermistor is reading 200º.

I'd try 220º and see if that does anything.

Yes in fact i add a heatsink on all motor driver with a thermal pad to prevent overheat and made some hole on the bottom of the front panel.
I also added 4 small heatsink on the motors ( 1 per side ).

My doubt is: can the aluminium heatsink disturb the motor??

The extruder motor is the only one have the heatsink only on 2 sides.

Considers that my printer yesterday goes well and today have this problem; i hope no need to replace the motor ( or controller ).

Edit:

Changing the temperature to 220 (and 245 of course), the problem not disappear.
I'm starting to think to have a buggy thermistor but if the temperature was too low i would not be able to push the filament with my finger

Open the door where the controller is and put a 80mm or a 120mm fan in the opening blowing on the Rambo and see if your problem goes away.
If it goes away that is telling you that you are going to have to install a fan blowing on the front of the card.

It's as if there's a jam, and that may very well be the case, or the motor may not have enough power to push the not sufficiently molten filament out of the nozzle.

I replaced the guide tube with another one of same internal diameter; re installing the old all work well;;;;;

This is a well mystery.... why this????

A mystery indeed. I hope this is a permanent fix.

Unfortunately no.

My original tube is too short. ( i cutted it ).
So my printer can't reach the X tower.

I'll attempt ask to my hardware store to find a similar tube.... but i know only one dimension for this type 2mm int. / 4 ext.
Probably the material make difference.

Yes, it has to be PTFE tubing.
