Filament is ColorFabb gold PLA. Tip of the cap to whoever recommended lubricating the filament - that seems to have done the trick in preventing jamups.
Party favors for my 6-year old's "Frozen" themed birthday

That's a pretty neat idea. Should look good and I'm sure the girls will love it.
By the way, I really like how that effector turned out. Looks slick.

Yeah, I've been happy with it. Makes it so easy to pop the effector off if I need to swap nozzles, clean the tip, etc. (which I did before I figured out the canola oil trick with PLA). I do like ColorFabb's material - not cheap, but it's a PLA blend, so it's actually got some flex to it.
Of course, I had to get a case of upgrade-itis and order a v6 e3d, so I might end up revising the design a bit, especially since the new hotend is a bit shorter. Not that I ever really *need* the z-height, but it's the principle of the thing.

On page 43 of the e3d v4 thread was where Bubbasnow suggested I use oil to get the PLA to print. I politely declined since it seemed like a bandaid rather than a fix :/
Months later without PLA success, I'm very happy to be using Bubbasnow's suggestion
Thanks Bubba, sorry for discounting that suggestion!
