pausing, idle and printing quits

I am experiencing these issues with my Max. I perused the forums and see there are many causes for this including the repetier bug, cooling issues, or static. Has anyone pinpointed this? I am going to vent and fan the board for sure.

I am not using repetier I am using Matterhacker and slicing with slic3r.

I am familiarizing myself with everything since I've only had my printer for a few days. So be gentle ;-)

I have a Rostock Max ver 1 with the newest firmware.

I am running from a laptop with all the sleep settings turned off.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

The repetier bug is a bug in the firmware, not in the host software, the host doesn't matter to the bug.
Having said that I'd assume that SeeMeCNC would probably be shipping with 0.91 on the boards at this point and it doesn't have the bug. The firmware version is printed on the LCD when you reboot the machine.
