I just got my rostock max v2 and put it together. After printing for a while two of the axles on my cheapskate carriages moved and messed up the print. Has anyone come across this problem and found a solution? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'moved' since the cheapskates are designed to move.
A picture is very helpful in troubleshooting, or maybe explain a little more detailed about what movement you mean. Are the cheapskates slipping on the belt? Wobbling on the towers?

The axles slide out from the u-joints and spring clips [img]

I had this issue. I fixed it with some Teflon DRY powder spray (PTFE lubricant spray). I bought the PTFE Blaster from Home depot for ~$4.50 and it did the trick! Did it for all 6 axles. I just took the axles and U joints outside and put them on some old newspaper. Sprayed them all and let them dry and then reassembled them on the printer. This worked very well and was a suggested method by SEEME. I think it was Guanu in a post on the forum that suggested PTFE dry lube.
