Anyone ever have this happen? Know what causes it? Printing 0.2mm layers at 50mm/s at 230C using black Matterhackers ABS Pro series. Sliced with Cura.

I've read about a known issue with Cura that causes this. The latest update (14.06?) may fix this, but I'm not sure. I'd ask on the Cura support forum to see what they say - include the pics too.

Looks to me of one of two things
(I don't know about the cura issue that geneb mentioned)

I've seen that happen when you enable the option to stagger start points for each layer. In KISSlicer it's called "Jitter", not sure if or where that option is on Cura.

But... I've also seen that happen when the filament has absorbed *ALOT* of moisture.
And it just so happens that the first time I saw that was when I was using filament from MatterHackers.
That filament was so wet you could see steam puff out of the nozzle, and it resulted in voids just like that, as well as messy layers.
I was able to bake most of it out at 170f in the oven for 8 hours.
