So yea, I wanted to try something at work, and ended up making some transparent abs... its awesome... completely water clear filament and looks cool... thought you might want to see...

How did you make the transparent ABS?

That's interesting! Show us the models after a vapor bath! And some closeups!

Was this made with the filastruder at the office? Possibly PET and PLA?

Really cool - but we need way more info!

yup, used a filastruder... havent ran pet or pla... ran some blue abs regrind, but it had some contaminates, so purged it and ran virgin clear abs.. and it came out great, so I decided to print with it... works great

It's actually a Filabot Wee, NOT the filastruder, lol.

Ooh I have a wee. Where did you get virgin clear ABS?

BTW, I keep reading the title of the thread as abs as in stomach muscles every time.

I took the material out of the pellet dryer here at work lol

This stuff is sick.

I've seen it in person and even without the vapor polish it looks really cool having smoky transparent ABS prints...
