Into calibration and everything seems to be working fine.

HOWEVER... When I home the machine it does so nicely. Then I am able to manually move the head in the X and Y directions using the Repetier just fine.

BUT I cannot move the Z Down(Towards the build plate) at all... I can move it up with the up arrow and the Repetier show the Z Axis value changing correctly in Black.

Is it me or is it trying to move backwards, but not during homing?

After looking at your build log, you have resolved this problem. It is generally not a good idea to post the same problem or questions in two different areas on the Forum.
