Prints Stopping from SD Card

I've searched the forum and seen a few related posts. We have a Rostock Max V2 that we just completed building a week ago. Sometimes when we try to print from the SD card it just stops mid print, can't seem to troubleshoot the problem on our own. Did anyone find a solution for this?

What is the name and speed rating on the card?

Not 100% sure. It's the SanDisk 8GB SDHC that came in the kit.

We have seen a lot of problems from the older cards but you have one of the newer cards so that should not be the cause of the problems.
Does it print ok when you use the USB cable and print from the computer?

Yep, works like a charm when printing from the computer. We'd like to be able to print from the SD card so we can free up our computers.

If it prints fine from the computer and not the SD card, it appears as though there are two possibilities, one is a bad reader that is built into the LCD the
other is a bad SD card. I have seen many bad cards but it has been extremely rare to get a report of a bad reader.
Seemecnc has upgraded the card to the Sandisk that you presently have which has solved the read errors for virtually everyone but yours could be
the exception. I would purchase another Sandisk 4 or 8 gigabyte with a speed rating of 10 and see if that fixes your read errors. It it does not, your
option would be to get Seemecnc support involved and describe the problem to them and what you have done in your attempt to fix the problem.
Please let us know what you find out.

Thanks for the advice. I'll report back after we come to a conclusion.
