Well thanks to all of the help from the forum my build is complete. I went with the screw-in thermistor and heater cartridge and a big thanks to f15sim for the great Youtube video. I have a couple of problems that I was looking for some guidance on.

Heat bed slowness
So after searching around on the forums it seems like it is a common issue for the heat bed to take a long time to get to 90C. For me I sat there for like 30 waiting and it still didn't quite get there. I ended up covering the bed with paper towels to get it to fully heat. How can I speed this up? If I run 3 wires for each terminal instead of 1 will that do the trick?

The first print
I downloaded the STL files for the fan shroud but when I started the print it printed the first layer in mid-air, slightly above the print bed. This caused filament to build up on the nozzle and thus it screwed up. I did configure the end-stop screws like it described in the manual. Any ideas? Also, when the nozzle reaches 225C a small amount of filament seems to be constantly coming out of the nozzle. Is this normal?

For the heated bed taking a while, I actually use a manila packing envelope, the kind with the bubble wrap inside, and just place it on top of my bed while it's heating up. As for the printing issues, make sure you calibrated the end stops and the horizontal radius. And the ooze is normal when the nozzle is at temperature and just sitting there, especially since you don't have the PEEK fan on yet.

Hey Lee,

I too just got my V2 to start printing pretty good- and I too am having heat bed issues. It takes FOREVER to get to 90-100!! I even swapped out the PSU for a really nice 850 watt one and ran 14awg wire from the bed to the board- and while it helped a little, it still takes 20-30 mins to get up past 90... I didn't know about putting paper towels or an envelope to try and trap heat..

Yeah Drew it takes around 10-15 minutes to heat up if place something over the heat bed. Some people say it takes less than 5 minutes but I haven't figured out how they did it.
