Part numbers for PEEK and layer fans?

Post by leebrimelow »

So I cracked both of the fan casings when I tried to push them into the shrouds that I printed. Does anyone know where I can get replacements for those? I tried looking at the sticker but I didn't see a part number.

Also, what are the purpose for each of the fans? I'm assuming the layer fan cools the filament as it is being laid down?

As a side note, it would be great if SeeMeCNC provided a list of all the components part numbers and where we can buy replacements. That would be a huge help!

Thanks guys,
Lee

The shrouds are also printable. They can be found on Repables.

Here are two other fan options for the PEEK fan, which can be sourced from Jameco Electroincs (http://www.jameco.com).

Sunon #KDE1202PFB1-8(V) aka Jameco stock #1708449

Jamicon #KF0210S1H aka Jameco stock #2179454

The stock fan in my kit was a little larger than its 25x25x10mm spec, so it was tight in the shroud and the fan wouldn't spin. When I removed it to enlarge the opening in the shroud, the fan housing broke. The two substitutes above both have a more robust frame and fit the stock PEEK fan shroud.

If you need a replacement 40x40x10mm RAMBo cooling fan, can use ADDA #AD0412HB-G70(T) aka Jameco stock #2205384.
