Just bought a used Rostock Max V2

Post by jprochnow »

Well needless to say I got a good deal on a used rostock max V2 and have a question about upgrading the hotend. I'm currently looking at the E3D V6 to put on this. Would I need a special mount to make this work? I'm new to delta printers(used to have Cartesian printers). I'm currently in the process to disassembling the whole thing and rebuilding(I'm making sure everything is built to spec). Any help would be appreciated.

yes you would, Mcslappy here on the forums have designed one which works just great and prints very smoothly

heathenx also has a version. I am using the fan shroud from this version to work with Mcslappys original "longer" version of the mount
