Gale Crater...

This is one of the 3D models that NASA recently released.

Took about 5 hours to print with a "true" .4 j-head at .15 layer height.

It's roughly 140mm x 105mm.

That picture is your print? There are no visible layer marks or retraction marks and it looks like it was cast in polyurethane or something. Really nice print!

Thanks. I sliced it with Cura 14.04 as my current copy of Kisslicer literally dies when it tries to slice the model. :)

The j-head is a "real" one from hotends.com and has proven time and time again to be THE best for PLA.

Well that makes me want to run out and buy a real J head. Very nice print and a very cool idea.
