ColorFabb TimeLapse Contest

Post by Michele Sella »

Hi Guys!

I've submitted a video for the latest ColorFabb Contest. I think i'm the only one that is using a Rostock Max =) If you like the video remember to share it with your friends! I need a lot of visualization to win!

I like how you switched out colors during the print, but it looks like a pain. I ran into problems with filament running out during prints, but since I stopped them too late I could never quite get the prints perfect when I started with the new filament.

Well, that was fun to watch!! Thanks for posting it. I loved the fuzzy flowers. Where did you get the .stl for them?

No matter, found em on thingiverse

Wow! I loved this! Changing the color on the vase mid-print was clever, and the flowers are really beautiful! I've never seen "drooloop" before! I just assumed you were showing failed prints along with the good ones. Only at the end did I see that the unsupported filament extrusion was deliberate! Thanks so much for sharing your excellent video, and turning me on to some new techniques! :)

For others interested in how to make the drooloop flowers, I looked them up on thingiverse:

(I know what I'll be printing today...) :p
