Rostock Max and the Kossel Pro

Hi guys,
I'm a new member that has been viewing this forum in preparation for my first 3d printer purchase (I was first introduced to 3D printing back in 2007 working with some ZPrinter 310 plaster printers). I was on the fence between the Rostock Max and (while waiting for) Openbeam's Kossel Pro and have made a final decision based upon Openbeam's announcing limited preorders for their Kossel today. I have to say that I came to my decision rather easily after taking a look at what's being offered by Openbeam, images of the Kossel Pro as well as its 250x250mm build volume (auto leveling is nice, but... I still check the gap on new spark plugs - a bit of a perfectionist).
I am not here to promote or knock the Openbeam design, I just wanted to note that Rostock Max has a considerable amount of refinement over the Kossel Pro and others. The Rostock Max is truly impressive when you consider all the deltabot kits available (Kossel Pro uses the EZStruder). What also impresses me is the dedication of the community in this forum. There is a steady flow of information here with a lot of ideas that inspire different paths of thought. It is interesting that, although the Rostock can be modified and is open to modifications there are not a lot of major design modifications being made. I think it is mainly because the Rostock Max performs very well in its current version (V2) straight out of the box, so to speak.
I think that the Kossel Pro has potential, but whether or not it can evolve as the Rostock Max has will need to be seen. Considering where I started just a few months ago pursuing the goal to become a part of the open source 3D printing community, I think I have settled for what I consider to be the best offering by a far margin. I am happy to say that I will be purchasing a Rostock Max this month. And, I can't wait to build my Rostock Max and get started printing while becoming a more active member of this forum.
Be talk'n to ya soon, and thanks for helping me make my decision...
