show us your LED lighting setup

Post by teoman »

Show us how you have lit up your printer.

Just for bling or to see what you are printing. Please also discuss what drivers you are using and where you are sucking the power.

I suppose halogen, HID and candlelight are ok too.

That is a pretty awesome setup.

When I first joined there was a discussion about adding a ringlight under the hot end. At the time I thought it was more bling than functionnality. Now I see that it really is a necessity when you are playing day and night with your printer.

Buy this: http://www.tricklaser.com/LED-Light-Rin ... D-RING.htm

Best $25 I ever spent. It's not for bling, it's for seeing. I also made a few of these. They work well but not as well as the light ring. http://repables.com/r/194/

That ideed does look nice.

THey do sell a pair of led rings on DX for 9 usd. But if a fellow on this forum is making these i will prefer to buy them off him provided i am not over charged on shipping.
