Slic3r retraction settings issue

Can anybody tell me what slic3r setting is causing this to move back and forth when retracting?

thats the wipe setting....

Right that's what I thought. But it is disabled. At the bottom in the gcode it says wipe = 0 . I'm using Slic3r 1.1.7 Stable
