Can any member please take a picture of the wires coming out of the extruder? That would help greatly on the documentation for the printrboard -> h1.
Thank you.
Can somebody please take a picture of the extruder?

Also, here is the printrbot's extruder.

Any help recognize the connectors that come off it vs the ones on the h1 would be very helpful in my documentation.
Thanks,
EXTRUDE

There aren't connectors coming off of the H-1's extruder when you get it (if you purchased a kit). I got the kit and I assembled the extruder myself and added my own connectors (some crimp connectors).
Why are you concerned with connectors to the printrboard? Those are just 4 pin Molex connector (power) and a 2 pin Molex connector (temp). You can just get the housing and crimp terminals and make your own ends, so you can run whatever cable you want.

Ah okay, thank you. I needed the 4/2 pin information (Temp/Power).michaellatif wrote:There aren't connectors coming off of the H-1's extruder when you get it (if you purchased a kit). I got the kit and I assembled the extruder myself and added my own connectors (some crimp connectors).

Mike, would this work for the 2-pin: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdet ... er=092-552
and this for the 4 pin?

Hey Extrude3D,
If you are going to connect to the Printrboard (you supply your own wire 18awg or bigger for extruder heater, ~24awg for extruder thermistor), then you will need the following housings and crimp connectors to be able to attach to the wire to the Printrboard.
http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... 22-01-2021 (for reference - 2 pin housing)
http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... 22-01-2031 (3 pin housing)
http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... 22-01-2046 (4 pin housing)
I used the above in conjunction with the crimp connectors below to make connection to my Sanguinololu board (very similar to the Printrboard).
http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... 08-50-0030
The above items will allow you to create a wire connection from the Printrboard to a wire that you run to your extruder heater/thermistor.
For the connection from the wire to the extruder heater/thermistor, you can use just about anything, there is no standard that I know of, the molex 2 pin connector you listed below would work fine in this connection.
