Print Letterpress Type

Has anyone tried to print type for a Letterpress?

I suspect that it won't stand up to a lot of prints, and the quality might not be there for small point fonts. But just wondering if anyone has tried it.

Also need to figure out if the inks will softness some of the different plastics.

I've printed a few things with raised type on them. Most of the time there will be gaps on the surface even with 100% infill unless your slicing is perfect.

For small features, you need small nozzles. To be able to print good quality letters on the top of a surface, you will need a nozzle of 0.2mm or smaller. If you want to do letters on the side of a print, you aren't limited so much in nozzle size, but definitely go slow to get good edges.
