These look very well done! Was there any post-printing, pre-painting finishing that you did? Sanding the surface, acetone vapor finishing if they're printed in ABS? What kind of plastic were you printing with and what kind of paint did you use?
We (my girlfriend and I) printed a model car for my stepdad out of white ABS and painted it with acrylic paint but it didn't come out shiny like yours!
If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.
Im using ABS (buy from seemecnc) print with .1mm layer height. after printing only sanding the surface (we never used acetone). then primed surface (with primer for plastic). Then painting with acrylic paints. after all we cover the glassy varnish.
