Rostock motors are not moving

Post by liozon »

Hello SeeMeCNC community!
I'm a 20 years old student in Switzerland, and I bought a Rostock MAX v2 at the end of august. I finished to build the Rostock yesterday, and everything works great, except for the 4 step motors...

I tried to re-upload the firmware into the RAMBo, but it does not solve the problem. The hot end and heated bed work as great as the two thermistors. Only the three towers motors and the EZstruder motor are not working. When I click on the "Home all" option in the RAMBo LCD screen, no motors move.

I'm new in the 3D printing "world", and I don't know whats happening...

The motors on my Rostock are not Kysan, but Wantai motors.

Thanks in advance for your ideas and, hopefully, solutions to solve this hudge problem!

When power is on, do the motors resist movement by hand? They should if the drivers are powered and wired correctly. If not, check the F2 fuse on the Rambo.
