I just finished building my kit for the Rostock v2 and while printing the first fan shroud, the motors and the rambo board were really hot. The print turned out well for a first print but I doubt the motors are suppose to run that hot. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

How hot?
50 or 60C is fine, I'd change the firmware settings if it's in the 80C plus range.
There is a setting in the firmware MOTOR_CURRENT, make the values a bit smaller.

I dont know exactly how hot it is but it gets unbearable to touch the back of the motor after around 3 seconds. And how much should I lower the current? Not really sure and I just have them at the default settings

unfortunately no. My motors are wantai motors. Should I try and change the values to the lower value from that thread anyway?
And also another random question, what lines do I need to erase in the custom start g-code to get rid of the beeps after its done heating?
