Here are some pics of my build. It went together well with no problems except a faulty hobbed gear . see that post here http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6373
I had a lot of fun building it learned quite a bit.

Some careful calibration and adding some PEI pays off. Check out the level of adhesion and how close I can get to the edge. This is ABS at 225 with the bed at 85.

Where did you get the PEI Plate? The only source I know is amazon mentioned here in another thread. But I´m waiting now for 2 month without getting it.Holy1 wrote:Some careful calibration and adding some PEI pays off. Check out the level of adhesion and how close I can get to the edge. Very nicely built machine and you attacked the power supply as well, got to be the way it's done. Wiring looks really neat tooHoly1 wrote:Here are some pics of my build. It went together well with no problems.

No separation.I had an enclosure around it (except for a quick pic).

Re: Holy 1's Build pics
You can get PEI sheet off McMaster for ~$30. Found a nice 12x12 sheet that's 1/16" I think

Re: Holy 1's Build pics
You might be happier with a thinner piece. PEI seems to be a poor heat conductor, within reason I think thinner is better. Mine is 1/32 and if I do this again I may try a little thinner.
