New from Iowa

Post by Saturn Rocket Man »

Hello Everyone,
I joined the forum last week -9/15, then ordered my Rostock Max V2 same time- 9/15, notified of shipping on Thursday 9/18 and in my hands Yesterday -9/22 . Spent the evening getting a look at the kit and punching out the laser cut parts from the boards.
The quality is exactly that, quality, IMO. The shipment was well packed and as far as I can tell complete. (Still going through all the parts in bags).

Also had the pleasure of getting into contact with forum user HesDeadJim, after I saw he was located almost within hollering distance from me, and ask him his experiences with the kit/printer. Great person to talk with and he shared his experiences with me without hesitation, Thank You Sir !

I am a IT person by trade, love launching high power rockets for a hobby as well as woodworking. This is going to be a great adventure and learning experience.

So, here we go !

Welcome to the forum!
You will now be able to print your rocket parts instead of making everything from wood.
The rocket hobby sounds like a blast, I hope that your printed rockets perform as well as your previous ones.
We will be here to answer any questions you may have or you can jump in and help answer user's questions.
Happy Printing!

Hi Eaglezsoar

Thank you for the welcome, I am getting excited to start 3d printing. The rocket parts I am thinking about ought to be very reachable through printing.
and rocketry is a blast. Happy to know the help is here in the forum, a big reason I bought a Rostock V2 and about half way through putting it together.
