I just popped open a roll of polycarbonate! It's cool stuff - just printed a small test cylinder so far. I'm have issues with bed adhesion. I've heard ABS glue works but havent tried that yet. Acetone isn't fun to handle. Have any of you guys used PC before? If so - what worked for bed adhesion?

I have printed a bit of PC. I use ABS glue on a pyro glass bed. It works and I have had no issues with damaging the bed. I get smooth prints usually. I also print a 10mm or 20mm brim to help maintain adhesion through longer prints.

I have 2 brands of PC now. One I have a heck of a time trying to get to stay down and so far I can only print small sized objects. The other seems to stay down fine. Perhaps it has to do with how much PC and ABS is in the blend.... I'm way behind on my task of roughening up one side of my boro plate to allow the PC to key to it better.

Hey McSlappy, do you mind sharing which brand is good and which to avoid? that'd be super great =)

I guess I will have to break down and try ABS glue. been avoiding it because using acetone is such a pain

thanks guys!
