Orion maintenance

Post by Vic »

I've been using the Orion for several months now without any significant issues. At first I had some U joint issues but some Teflon dry lube helped a lot. But overall extremely happy. Been having a blast with it.

Is there any maintenance/adjustments you guys do on your printers? Anything I need to monitor? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Thanks

A general inspection of the belts, cheapskate looseness are the things I check.
Most problems will be exposed by changes in your prints.
My Orion has been quite good and I haven't had to adjust anything in the time
I have owned it which is almost a year.
Get used to the sounds your printer makes and if the sounds change find out why.
Happy Printing!

Thanks. For your reply. I always believed in preventative maintenance (from experience :? )
