Good afternoon.
So ive downgraded versions of repetier, as the seemecnc guys said there are some strange behaviors on the new version.
That said mattercontrol is what i like to use.
Problem is... I find that I cant make setting adjustments to the model, temps, flow speed, all that stuff unless im connected via USB to in mattercontrol.
Is there any way to make all those edits without connecting?
or is there any other program folks like?

Another strange thing, im working with bronze right now, and i upped the flow to 104% within slicer, but when its printing on the printer the flow says 100%, not 104%... is that normal?

PS im looking for bronze medallions and jewelry STL files... i cant find many... has anyone found them? thanks

Once you have done your settings you have to save. Then if you open an stl and view it then click generate you will see that the settings have been implemented.

Then export stl to sd card and print is what I do.

I use Matter Control almost exclusively, and almost always offline. Still need to select a printer from your defined list, even though it doesn't need to be connected. Once a printer is selected, you should have access to all the adjustments in MC. You don't need to save the changes unless you want to use them again later. If you are making a one-time adjustment (for example, testing a speed or temperature setting) you can just make the adjustment and then click generate (if you want to view the layers) or click export to save gcode.

Changing the flow in the slicer does not change the reading on the machine. Slicer flow factor is used to generate gcode. The machine's flow factor is applied to the incoming gcode. If both were 104%, the extruder would actually be running at ~108.16%.

Oh yes. I forgot about selecting a printer. I have to select it every time I open mc. Or after a crash.

New version of MC in the next few days by the sounds of it - going to fix a bunch of things including some of the crashes in the 3D layer viewer and slow support structure printing.
