Hello Experts.

I have downloaded the Slicr profile from Downloads, and following the settings, while my ABS adhesion is really poor, I can print approx 3 to 5 minutes and the Prints would come off.

Im printing with Heat Bed 90 and 228 Extrusion temp.

I did gone through some of the forums, Do you have any suggestions that can keep the prints on ABS better adhesion.

Pingnagan P :)

What are you using on the bed to promote adhesion (abs won't stick straight to glass)? Most have good results with 3M permanent glue stick, aquanet hair spray, kapton tape, and pei sheet.

Also what does the first layer extrusion profile looks like (round or flat)? If it is mostly round looking then your Z-height is likely too high.

HI,

I use the paper masking tape, while yet to try the glue stick today, and the Z height is fixed at seeing it flat at top. If possible, I will try to send the pics of the layer.

Defiantly use a glue stick. I usually try to print abs at 235 bed temp same as yours maybe 95 if I have a longer running print. Make sure your layer fan isn't on (you laugh.... I have done it before). Check to see if there is a cold/hot spot near the printer like an air register for heat/AC, you would be surprised how little breeze/wind it takes to ruin your print. You also want the ambient air in the room to be fairly warm and consistent. I have found that hanging a clear shower curtain ($3.00 from wally world) around mine has made a AMAZING difference in the quality of my prints.

I can't stress this enough. Get a piece of PEI and use it. My bed runs at 105-110.

I use heavy duty aluminum foil as a heat spreader. I have a 1/16 inch aluminum plate but need to have it cut to size to use it.

Use a towel on top of the bed while it is warming up to help it heat up fast. If you are printing a long thin piece, you need to use a brim to help with adhesion.
