I am sure its been discussed before, but i didnt see a thread. I have a vacuum saver that i use for cheese, soup, etc.
It just so happens the rolls fit PERFECTLY snug in the standard size vacuum rolls.
here is a pic of what im now using.
kind of a DUH Moment... but cool none the less.

I do something similar, I use space saver bags that you use for clothing.
You cab get ones for suitcases, so not too big. I put two rolls in each along with a pack of desiccant, seal it and vaccuum out the air.

I have those vacuum bags as well, i find they almost always break their seals... never seems to stay airtight for me.
The vacuum sealer bags im using are actually reuseable too. What i do is buy rolls online (WAY cheaper than in stores) and make the bag 2-3 feet longer than needed. when you actually open the bag you only cut about an inch or 2 off, so ill be able to reseal this bag 20+ times before needing a new one.
I wish those vacuum bags worked better for me...

Has anyone put a hydrometer in their bags? I have one and I get like 20-25% humidity readings with a dessicant. Is that decent? I have nothing to compare it to!

Put another hygrometer in your room to measure the ambient air. If it's lower in the bag, it's worth it.

Oh, it is for sure! I get 60-65% in the room, hah. Well, good thing I ordered a few more dessicant packs to make it more long-lasting!
