Hey guys,

So gone through and checked everything is plugged in:

* power cables into the RAMBO
* switch wires are definitely black + green
* power cable is obviously plugged in, and PSU is set to 230V (im in EU)
* PSU switch set to on.

However, when I turn on the switch, literally nothing happens!

I can plugin the USB to my PC and get a Teensy USB device connected, but I'd expected the LCD to turn on (but it doesn't seem to do anything, nor does anything else seem to happen (I'd also expect to hear PSU fan).

Anyone got any ideas for debugging?

I've got a feeling I should have checked the PSU worked before installing it all, but you'd just assume it would!

Check that you have wired the 2 wires that activate the power supply to the switch.

You can also touch the wires together to see if you have a faulty switch.

As above, I definitely have the green + black ones going to the switch.

Just tried it without the switch and nothing either!

The only other thing I can think of is if the PSU needs load on the 5v rails like some do? Nothing in the instruction manual so presume it doesn't, but something certainly isn't right.

So, just tried the power lead from my Prusa i3 and it works - so looks like the PSU plug I was supplied has a dead fuse, or is dead completely. I'll find out via a new fuse .

I'm so glad it's not something more, like a dead PSU, I could really not be bothered to tear it all apart to replace it :]

Glad it was so simple to troubleshoot. Good job!

You wouldn't have to tear it apart to replace the power supply. You simply remove the four nylon screws and push the power supply in. It'll drop out through the hole in the base.
