DropLit Kit and ??? About Building A Resin Based 3D Printer

I'm considering ordering a DropLit kit and just was looking for a bit of input from those of you who already have one, or just know more than me :P I have built and own several 3D printers, a CNC machine and am nearly finished building my DIY CO2 laser cutter. I like to think I should be able to get one of these up and running even with the limited info available, but I generally just want to know what all I will need to be up and printing. I guess I will make a list and if you feel like contributing I'd really appreciate it. Whether you have comments, suggestions, recommendations...I'd like to hear from you. This type of printing is new to me so I apologize in advance for my ignorance. I've been doing a lot of reading but I am someone who generally learns from doing. So, Is this all I will need?

DropLit Kit
Projector(I've been looking at projectors used in other DropLit builds and other machines)
Some type of Vat(clear so the UV light can penetrate. Petri dish, DIY type Vat)
UV Resin

Again, any help at all would be most appreciated. I usually document my builds and if I end up with a DropLit kit I'd most certainly share my build/experience. This looks to be a great community and I'd love to become a part of it.

Thanks in advance.

Tony

Welcome to the forum!

I do not own a droplit, but it certainly sounds like you're qualified (if not overqualified) to figure it out. Resin printers have so many fewer moving parts, and really only 1 axis of motion, so you'll get it no problem.

You should start another post about your laser cutter! I'm venturing into the same territory and would love to learn from your experience.
