I'll be assembling them as soon as I get a layer shift issue fixed, and print the last four pieces!

Here's a video of the printed pipes in action

Just goes to show what these printers are capable of!
Post production is important for good tone - basically, the internal bores need polished to give a good quality sound. I cleaned them out with drills (hand reamers would be better, I'm going to switch to that in future), and then I stoppered the parts and filled them with acetone, pouring it out again immediately. Quicker than a vapour bath, and I didn't really want the acetone look on the outside. Not really completely safe or sensible, though, but it's done now and the results are good.
100% infill is also important - other wise they can't be reamed or modified in the way a conventional instrument could. The thinnest parts also need to be as strong as possible to stand up to use.

I'll be sure to record that one, and a few other well known tunes while I'm putting them through their paces
