I am working with PLA and am having a delamination problem between layer 1 and layer 2.
I use the purple glue stick method with my Rostock MAX v2. With the Z height and stops adjusted correctly I am getting good adhesion with Layer 1. But when layer 2 is extruded it doesn't adhere well. Subsequent layers are not a problem.
The standard PLA configuration lays down the 1st layer with higher temperatures, lower speed and no fan. All of these parameters change with the second layer and I'm wondering if one of these might be my problem. Before I start tinkering, I thought I would ask...
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? How did you solve it?

Re: Layer 2 Delamination
Are your layers not sticking to each other, or is the print not sticking to the bed?
I'd try increasing your temperatures. People generally recommend about 190 for PLA, but I find 210-215 works better for me.
