I'm using an industrial 12V supply instead of the Diablotek so I don't have to worry about it. The one I got is either a 350W, 360W, or 400W depending on who you buy it from. It says the output is 12V @ 33A.

I printed some clips to hold the power supply in the bottom access hole. The thickness of the clamp matches the 4mm screws I happened to have in my supplies, they don't NEED to be that thick.

I cheated, and used double sided tape. The one I bought also has a trimmer pot to adjust the voltage. The bed heats up nicely with it set at 15 volts.

Note that increasing the voltage decreases the available current by a proportional amount. 350W / 12V = 29.1A, 350W / 15V = 23.3A

With two 40 watt heaters in my hotend, and a rev 2 bed, I haven't had any problems. I had monitored the voltage when I first installed it, and it it didn't drop much,,, maybe .3? The fan in the psu is loud, so I installed a temperature controlled 80 mm fan in one of the printer's panels.

I didn't know these sorts of power supplies existed - this is awesome! Thanks for the post, I'll keep this in mind for future maintenance.

This type of supply will cost you about $30 from eBay.
