There hasn't been an official forum announcement about MRRF yet (and I'm not an admin that can post in that section) but start getting excited about MRRF! There were over a thousand attendees last year (triple from the first event) and we easily had 100+ printers running all weekend.

If you can make it out, this event is THE who's who of the RepRap world and it's a great meet and greet for the forum members. (I dare you to complain about Gene's manual when you're not hiding behind the internet!) Come hang out all weekend and get some work done on your projects while collaborating with like minded people.

Hopefully when the Crew is back from CES and the expo in California they can post the speaker lineup and special events. As long as we don't run into any formalities, the MakerHive is going to host a 3D printed rocket launch.

It's the new anti-spam/anti-bot sign up method. You have to send them an mp3 of you singing your email address!

Hey! That is a good one! Maybe we can get secure sites to start using that. Funny if nothing else!

I missed this last year but won't miss it this year! I signed up, but there was no confirmation email or error/success message on the page. Is that normal?

I'm planning on being there. Hopefully I can figure out transportation.

I tried signing up, but never received any confirmation. I'm flying in from Florida and already purchased my plane tickets, but want to see if my table is confirmed before I take off of work and fly up there, lugging my machine up. Who is running MRRF? Who do I contact? I see no contact info on their site, besides the form I submitted and never heard back from.

My wife and I managed to get Jerry Pournelle into a dunking booth, had Robert Heinlien in the front row cheering either him or the bean bag tosser on. So... you can get into one.

Man, I really miss Heinlein. Grumbles from the Grave was a good read. I wish someone that had the chops (Neal Stephenson?) would write new stories for some of his characters...
