Onyx Bed Issue

My Onyx bed isn't heading up. The power output connector on my Rambo was damaged recently and I just replaced it. I'm getting voltage out of the replacement and a red LED lights up on the Rambo when I power up the heated bed, but the Onyx is not heading up and the LED isn't turning on.

Is there a way for me to test if the heated bed is damaged with a multi meter? I don't see any physical damage to the Onyx.

I did replace the wiring between the Onyx and the Rambo.

If you measure across the bed with an ohm meter you should see about 1 ohm

I'm getting continuity and 1 ohm, but the heated bed still isn't heating up an the LED isn't turning on.
Any ideas?

Run a couple of wires from the Rambo connector were the bed connects, connect to a 12V automotive lamp and see if you can light it. An automotive brake light will draw less than 10% of the power of the bed, but does put some load on it.

I'm not sure what I did but suddenly the Onyx started working.

Apparently my board had a bad connection.

Now would be a good time to upgrade to a 24V power supply. It is much easier than trying to get a high power connection to the fried part.

All you have to do is solder 2 wires to your burnt connector and bring them to an SSR (lots of threads on this).

This way, the burnt connector will not be outputting a significant amount of power, just a signal, so you can have a much thinner wire.
