Hi,
I just finished building my Rostock Max and broke two micro switch blades in the process. Living on an Island makes it difficult to get replacement parts.

My quick and temporary patch: I removed the blade of the remaining switch and installed all of them backward, 180 degree from their original position. That rotation makes the adjusting screw to hit the switch straight. I was able to calibrate the unit and to print my first object; the fan shroud. So far so good.

I'll still order the replacement switches.

If you had some cheap flashlights or other AA or AAA, CR2032, etc battery powered gadgets, you could take the tab out of those and use some awesome snips to make new ones.

It may also be possible to flip the switches around and have the adjuster screw contact the little button directly... If you have to take them off to replace them anyway, you might try flipping them over first.

Make sure it works by hand before homing the machine into a crash though.

That is exactly what I did but worded differently.
