Looks like a self tensioning linear bearing for an extrusion...

Yep.
It attaches to the towers of the rostock towers.
I am implementing something like foshon did. Nozzle purger/primer before printing.
I design the other part holding the servo, get the fusion angle correct and the fuse it.
