Additional stepper cooling and belts grinding at the sides

Hi there,

two quick questions:

- I noticed all the stepper motors getting rather warm so i ordered some heatsink plaster and added some heatsinks to their outer shell to improve heat dissipation. Has anyone else done that? They might be fine, but i guess it can't hurt to remove excess heat. Especially the extruder stepper gets pretty warm (not burn-your-hand-hot though)

- The belts are grinding slightly at the sides of both the top and bottom ends of the aluminium (X/Y/Z) towers because of their sharp edges. Is that normal or within tolerance? I noticed from slight amount of 'belt dust' assembling below the bottom idler.

Make sure you have your stepper current set right.

I added water cooling to my extruders since I'll be enclosing the printer and running it hot in there.

It should be right, i did everything according to the manual. I'm not talking excessively hot, maybe 50°C tops. I was just thinking that in theory the service life of these motors could be longer if i improved the cooling.

What about the belts though?
