Howdy!

First post here on forums, I hope this ain't the wrong place... but 3 fails so far with this, I need this thing solid and smooth.

Have had some really fun times with my newly built Rostock Max V2, couldn't get PLA to stick on glass, so using glue now.
I'm using RoboSavvys PLA atm, temps 205-210 for head and 60 for bed. Default Fine/PLA settings in mattercontrol otherwise.

See my images below, could use some tips to get this ugly sector go away. Realized this ugly sector is pointing towards my Y tower.
I DID use an awful lot of time calibrating however, and that was a week a go or so.

Any help/tips appreciated!

with that steep of a slope, and the fact you are seeing the infill pattern, I would say you would want to either increase the number of perimeters, or number of top layers.... possibly both.. I typically go with 5 top/bottom layers and about 3 perimeters.. you may have to tweak for that particular part..

You may also want to increase the density of the infill, it'll be less likely to droop between infill.

Just increase the number to top layers to 3 and u will get drastic difference no need to increase infill %

Is there anything I could do to get these bumpy triangles go away?

Actually, I'd do more of what's already been suggested, specifically increase the infill and add more top layers. I find this happens more at finer resolutions (.1mm-.15mm), since thinner strands have a harder time bridging the gap over the infill than thicker layers.

I've had better luck with "grid" infill when printing round objects. That should give a more consistent gap for the layers to sit on.

Worth a shot anyways.
