"Tower n endstop offset" in EEPROM not working repetier .92

I just managed to install repetier 0.92.2 because I wanted some of the new features for it and wanted to be able to adjust some things on geometry of the printer that I couldn't do with the SeeMeCNC repo version of the firmware. My problem is that I do the paper test for the endstop position (like X0, Y120 for below Z tower), determine the offset by "-80*offset" where offset is the distance from zero the nozzle is, enter the number into the endstop offset field in EEPROM, and click OK to save it. Then I home the machine and test that endstop position again and it seems to have not moved. I have even tried putting a large number, like -1000, into the field to see if it makes a difference (i.e.: -1000 should raise the nozzle position by 1000 steps) and it doesn't change. So basically, the endstop offset is not making any difference at all. Anyone have any ideas not consisting of reverting to 0.91?

I'm running the same version and I only do end stop offset leveling. Works as it should.

Can you post your Configuration.h file or post it to a pastebin or something so I can compare the settings? I am really not sure why it isn't working for me, I have the EEPROM active in the firmware and everything matches the 0.91 SeeMeCNC Cofiguration.h that I could match.

http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6990 Not my exact config file, but it's a known working one on another V2 MAX with minimal mods. I'm running on a Mac, so when I change an EEPROM setting all I have to do it press enter after a variable change. Are you sure it's actually getting changed?

It's getting changed, I open the EEPROM editor in Repetier Host, change it, click OK, and home the printer and if I reopen the menu it's there, saved in EEPROM. I adjusted a few settings that shouldn't make a difference, just to be sure and it still does not work right. I can adjust other things and they work fine, like homing feed rate (as a test). I guess I'm stuck with screws for the endstops.

Well, for some reason or another, it suddenly started working, I didn't even change anything! Now I have the bed level at center, x,y,z towers, but for the opposite points on the towers I still get the nozzle being much too high compared to what it should be . The bed is below the nozzle by the following amounts as recorded from the Z-calibration menu on the LCD (Xopp:-0.11mm Yopp:-0.15mm Zopp:-0.26mm). Now I have to figure out what the fuck to fix to set this right. I'm getting quite mad that it's so out of whack at these positions!

You'll have to screw with the tower rotations a bit

Helps to use a dial indicator (can be bought for reasonable price at NAPA)

Yea, I guess I'll give it a go, even if it takes forever.

Unfortunately for us not using smoothie thats about the best thing we have. I just switched to Jfettig's platform and carriage mounts so I have the whole calibration process to do over, hopefully it will go smoother.

Mine did not like negative values for the offsets.
