Painting the edges of the Rostock Max V2

I have a white RMV2 on the way and seeing how someone on the forum painted the edges on his printer orange, I would like to do the same. But I would like to paint my edges white to match the white of the Melamine. I see the manual suggests cutting the initial masking with a razor which I plan to do. But how would you go about spraying all the edges? Which type of paint should I get? Does anyone know which "white" matches the Melamine white?

Thanks in advance,
Jorge

I painted the edges of my V2 Max, and the first layer or so, you need to put a primer down. Melamine will soak the top coat up like a sponge, and especially with you wanting to paint the edges white.

Killz white primer would be a good choice.

A neat trick that I used was to stack as many pieces as possible with staples as spacers so that you can paint several pieces at the same time.

I have found the paint pens sold by Amazon and others do a great job on the edges. One is listed here:

Thanks for all the tips. I'll be using the Kilz primer if I can find it. I will do the stacking technique and get the pen for sure!
