Hi everyone,

our local big box electronics store fry's electronics has started selling makerbots and a couple of really cheap velleman cartezian kits. they are stocking makerbot filaments and also Shaxon PLA and ABS. the 1KG spool is 24.99 I saw black, white, orange, red, blue, yellow and neon green. they were also selling some other no name stuff translucents and naturals in .2 kg spools. they wanted 58 dollars for the 1 Kg makerbot filaments.

anyone have experiece with the HAXON brand? its vacuum packed with a dessicant inside he cacuum pack.

I got a box of white to play with...... currently I have botfeeder 1.75 PLA in blue and neon green, printing rostock max tensioner parts..... it prints really nice!!

I had a terrible time with Shaxon ABS. Read about my experience in this post: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=6449
