Dropped Top Base Plate

One of our painters accidentally dropped the base top plate after/during the first coat. it mushroomed out on the top side a bit, but I think it should be fine. What do you guys think? Here's a photo:

- Bruised or broken?
and this one gives you a bit of a better idea where the damaged area is:

- Location of said damage
We were tossing the idea around of cutting a new one out on our laser, although we're not confident our machine's registration will be able to match that of SeemeCNC's.
Thoughts?
Charlie

I think it's cosmetic, not a problem. If it's not already assembled, you could probably remove some of the mushrooming with a block of wood and a hammer (put the block over the injured area, and hit the block with the hammer to re-flatten the board).

Thanks Eric!
We probably won't try to repair it, since it's already been primed. The paint and the subsequent gloss finish will keep moisture/humidity from making it worse.

I want to say someone here on the forums used CA glue to soak a section of some damaged melamine to harden it, but I don't think that section will cause any issues besides hurt feelings for the person who dropped it

Brian from TrickLaser uses the thin viscosity stuff to harden parts. It would probably work great for a repair like this too.
I don't remember if this is the specific one that Brian recommended or if it's just one that I found later, but here's the glue that I've had bookmarked on Amazon for a while:
