Hi Guys,

I'm pretty sure this type of design was made by someone else in the past, but this is my version.
Once I get my printer up and running, this will be the first of many upgrades I have in mind.

This design uses 5 printed parts and 2 aluminum brackets.

The 2 green parts are glued together, then the 2 blue sides are added. The Yellow part slides in to keep the timing belt in place. Im thinking to add a nut/screw in the center to keep the yellow slider from coming off during operation.
Finally, the aluminum brackets will be glued in place once the entire assembly is done. The assembly will then simply screw onto the extruder chassis using the existing screws.

Interesting -- I know a lot of others are doing something weird with metal belt clamps -- this seems slightly more elegant -- but also slightly less heat resistant -- would love to know how this works out for you. :)

Edit: Also, I really like the quality of your assembly pictures -- what program did you use to make them?

Yeah, I think it will probably melt at some stage, but its worth a shot. If all else fails, I will just have it made from aluminium. I used google sketchup 8. Its so easy to use.
