Problem with support material

Post by matter68 »

I've finally gotten my Rostock Max v2 up and running (yay). I have upgraded to trick laser arms, trick trucks, and an E3Dv6. I am getting some really amazing prints... unless I need to print any sort of support. The support material always breaks loose and I end up with wonderful, colored spider webs. Im using the downloaded setting from SeeMeCNC and am printing using ABS. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Which slicer are you using? I've had some weird issues with support generation on my new max v2 using matterslice within the mattercontrol software. Haven't gotten a chance to try other software much, but it seems that trying the slice and/or support generation in another program might help.
