new thermistor , led blinks on velleman?

I got a new 100k thermistor from ultimaker and installed it , wired everything when i turn the power on though the relay and led blink on and off at a steady pace maybe 1 sec intervals , whats going on?

Glad I could answer your email Tom, and for those of you reading, a 100k was the wrong thermistor for a velleman kit. The Vellemans use a 4k, and RAMPS or similar reprap boards use the 100k.
