Slic3r Mach3 Problem

Hi All!

I'm trying to print some sculptures and vases on a homemade 3d printer.
Clay is extruded by compressed air. I have no option to stop extrusion when printing but if the speed would be faster where the clay flow should stop that would be ok for me.
Here comes the problem. I use Slic3r for slicing and Mach3 for running the printer. I have set the non printing travel to higer speed but Mach3 runs the printing proces
on the same speed al the time. Can anybody here tell me what setting do I have to change in Mach 3 to achieve higher speeds at non-printing moves?

(Sorry for my bad english)

Aleksander

Maybe it's something in the motor tuning with velocity. Is Constant Velocity selected?

If your gcode is commanding different speeds and you're not getting different speeds there's a chance your speed limit in your firmware is lower than all the speeds commanded by the gcode.

He has no firmware he's driving the printer with Mach3 which has several options that can limit speed to be different than requested.
The first is the Motor tuning which is close to what your suggesting, but Mach also has Constant Velocity planning mode.
