Hey guys, ~8 month Rostock Max V2 build here, semi regular use with no issues so far until now,

Today im getting a weird shut off issue about 10ish minutes into 4 prints ive attempted today.

Symptoms:

fan turns off, LCD turns off, Arms stop moving. I believe the fan on the PSU stops (turned system off on and I can hear a fan now back to normal)

I took the acryllic covers off during fail event and notice a single orange flashing light in the middle of Rambo board.

Anyone point me in any direction?

Ive been printing ~10 hour prints latley, things have been pretty solid until today!

Sounds like classic power supply shut down. Try removing the rear acrylic cover and one or both melamine side panels. Then try the print again. Guessing it's ABS (or other material that like a high bed temp). If it completes that way, you can print grille pieces to replace the ones you removed. Power supply can use a little more airflow.

Oh, I was printing PLA with 180/55 temps. I have printed ABS recently at 233/80ish.

Im in Australia and the day is a bit cooler as we are in autumn . Really odd behaviour seeing the long prints it can handle but today seems like it doesnt want to print anything.

I'll need to figure out that flashing orange light.

If RAMBo is connected to computer and Max's power supply quits, some of the RAMBo still has power from the USB connection. The blinking yellow LED is the comm activity indicator, I think.
