Changing thermistor - Configuration.h?

Hi,
I've replaced the hotend thermistor with one taht has similar specs to this http://reprap.org/wiki/Thermistor#RRRF_100K_Thermistor Only difference is the beta value is 4000
Question: Can i simply replace USER_THERMISTORTABLE0 with the values from the RepRep wiki and GENERIC_THERM1_BETA with the value 4000?
