Stupid Question on PTFE Tubing

I'm working on upgrading my hotend to an e3d v6 and it comes with PTFE tubing, but I'd rather use the tubing I already have from the Rostock Max v2 build. That tubing is clear and I like to easily see where the filament is for when I'm changing the filaments.

However, for the life of me I can't figure out if there is some important difference between the two tubings. I'm leaning towards just using the included tubing out of fear that the old tubing will melt in the hot end and ruin it. Does anyone know if there is a difference?

Stock tubing is also PTFE. And it won't melt. There is a small piece of it inside the nozzle (or so i was told by seemecnc).

I ran stock tubing with the e3d for awhile. No problems.

Stock tubing is PTFE, only difference is the color.
